An Exhibition of Photographic Work
By Patrick & Lesley Foster
Wednesday 18th March to Monday 2nd May
Landscapes, abandoned constructions, flora and fauna are just some of the topics covered in this exhibition by these Suffolk photographers.
Lesley Foster is new to being behind the lens. She spent her career as Lifestyle Editor for Camera Press, a well-known picture agency, and so she knows what makes a good image. She photographs her subjects in a thought-provoking way; she gets us close enough to allow a glimpse at the macro/micro construction of the subject but keeps us far enough away so as to retain the natural beauty and personality of the whole.
A photographer for over 40 years, much of Patrick Foster’s work seems to blur the boundaries between still life and landscape. He photographs old, abandoned buildings and somehow manages to capture the soul of the subject. His wildlife images are not just pictures of animals. On closer viewing their personalities can be seen in the faces and poses of the subjects.
Both photographers record their subjects in a very individual and enthusing manner, allowing us as viewers to look, think and make our own minds up.

The gallery is available for private hire and conferences. During this exhibition the gallery will be closed on the following dates and times to the public.
